You my Lord are sat upon the wisdom of the ages,
Frolicking with any wench and many willing pages
Wit and Wisdom are your curse, morals are your blessing,
In a restoration age of cursing and undressing.
You have taught the muse is more than mere consideration
And that sin cannot be shunned - it leads to our salvation.
Now all that youth and beauty's spent, your passion's shine is jaded
But let your reputation stand - your poetry's not faded!
